Keep us posted !! How many are you expecting ???
I only confirmed pregnancy but didn't take her back later for xrays because it stresses her too much to go to the vet. (She broke her foot as a pup during the fear period, so has a hangup with the xray room). She's putting on some serious weight, so I wouldn't be surprised if we get a crop! :p

You go girl!!!!! I love hearing about Proven dogs having pups!!!

How close are we to pups?
59 days from the first breeding is Thursday. She went late last litter, as our bitches usually do, but I never take chances, so have tentative vacation starting Thursday. Thank goodness I have a dog-loving boss!

Her temp is still at 100.2, so no pups will be arriving tonight, but it has dropped a point each day since Tuesday, so I'm thinking this weekend. I would love a weekend, during the day delivery ... but I can't remember the last time I had one whelp at a time that was convenient! lol

Yay! I'm excited to see puppies...and to quote something someone said (I think on here) now if you could just put puppy breath online, I'd be in heaven...nothing smells as good as "bologna" breath!

Here's a question, nobody ever posts pictures of their pregnant bitches on here...I think that'd be cool!

Pregnant - due to whelp any day

Normal body

The differences are in her tuck up and mammaries - looser skin/larger nipples/thinned hair - that area is usually are tight against her body. No one can tell she's had a litter before - she toned up almost immediately.

With the Collies' longer bodies and deep chests (plus those bullet-shaped babies) most don't really look pregnant like shorter-bodied breeds do unless they're carrying a "truckload" (like 12-13 pups). :p

Temp is 100.1 this AM, so nothing today. Maybe tomorrow, although my money is on 3AM Monday morning, in true "colliewog" style. ;)

Ooooo...looks like I squeeked into this thread just in time. She is absolutely lovely...gorgeous! I can't wait to see those little dumplings. Hoping everything goes well and that we see some pictures soon. Best of luck!
