Breeds You Own....

A lab and a chow mix. I still miss both so terribly. The next dog my dad wants to get is a Labrador, and hopefully, soon.

I have always had Collies, but in the future if time and finances allow, I would want to add either a Mini Bull Terrier or an ACD (preferably red).

Current - I have 4 Basenjis and there will always be Basenjis in my home

Other breeds - I plan to add a Pomeranian sometime in 2009. Other breeds considered are Rat Terrier and Chinese Crested.

In the future? SO wants a dobe, I want a Smooth Collie, maybe a JRT, Aussie, Border Collie sometime Definitely, maybe a Chessie or a flat coat. (I'm actually liking the retriever thing, before it was ALL herding breeds. I've also fallen in LOVE with some JRT's. I love me some JRT's now.) After Oz's puppyhood, I'm not sure I can really handle a high drive JRT though. Maybe I'll just take Cargo from Dekka!

I have two Border Collies -Shye and River-, four Ragdolls (cat breed)-Makana, Maui, Amaya, and Orion-, two Maine Coon mixes (cat breed)-Marzi and Maddie-, and a Xander (who's supposed to be a Maine Coon mix... and if he is, he's a Ragdoll mix too... Maine coon voice, ragdoll coat type), a Harlequin rabbit-Paisley Q.-, a mini whatever NRA just allowed me to smother with love bunneyhead-Mr. Nibbles-, 4 russian dwarf hammies -Dice, Hamlet, Shoot, and Dang It.. or DI for short- of typing I can't determine and can't photograph cause they don't sit still for a second unless they are completely covered in bedding, and several fish.

I will probably always have a Border.... I was raised with them and I feel a piece is missing without them.

I'm considering Australian Shepherds (HUGE jump I know). I've also thought about an APBT or American Staffordshire but I'd need to research.... all the ones I've known have been sweet, Boxers (had those when I was little before my mom got her Borders), and maybe one of the Huskies or Malamutes, Long Haired Whippet, and Sheltie.

Bimmer's a one of a kind, so I know I will never have another. I hope to never be without Filas, and I can see keeping an APBT around. They're a good addition with Filas

I never expected nor wanted either of these breeds, but I love them now. At some point in the distant future, I'd love to get a GSD or Dobe. I've had both, and they were wonderful.

cresties are very closely related to basenjis!

Currently have Great Danes.

Will always own at least one Great Dane if I have dogs, but may add a Neo Mastiff, Boerboel, Cane Corso or Presa Canario at some time to the pack.
