Forgive the lack of a creative title!
the chub (who to be fair to her isn't quite as chubby as she looks with all that fur)
Whazat!??
Patrolling the deck
Now for the others. We are building a new vegetable garden! I'm excited, it should be nice. We have 7 4' x 12' raised beds... still working on wheelbarrowing the 10 cubic yards of dirt from the driveway up the hill, but with any luck, once it's done and has had time to grow, we'll soon be in over our heads with veggies, fruits, and leafy greens!
the broken wheelbarrow that is slowing down our dirt moving progress
some flowers from the other garden out back
a slightly more zoomed out view
these cuties were living on our front porch. Not quite sure why momma bird decided that it was an ideal location, what with the constant traffic to the door and the porch light on all night, every night, but the babies looked fat and happy! They finally left the nest a few days ago.
We've been out to the barn a few times lately and, though there's no Billie pictures as of yet, I snapped a few of the resident barn peacock and thought I'd share this one.
That's all for now!
