beagle/ chinese crestes mix

I own hairless Chinese cresands and beagles. None are breeders. But I see hairless creates in this dog. The skin yes but also the toes. Its more meaty like a beagle but I see some crested in there. There are powder puff cresteds and the hairless.my male is a very bald crested. But his face does grow hair and its patchy like this beagles. So I keep it shaved. My boy also gets a few other places that stray hairs grow.but there areveey hair hairless as well. They have hair in all the places this beagle has hair. But having my own createds and beagles I see the hairless Chinese crested in this beagle.

I actually do see some kind of hairless breed in him, most likely CC since their popularity is on the rise. If I remember correctly, Beagles' ticking is on the fur, not the skin like the hairless breeds. I actually find him kind of appealing.

ETA- Holy cow- I didn't even notice how old this thread is!

I find it sad that this thread is four and a half years old, and the dog's Petfinder listing is still up... meaning he's still available :( I think he's cute!

His title says 'an adopted dog' the rest from that rescue say an adoptable dog. Think he's taken, but it's still up?

That was my first thought when I clicked that link again! I thought it would say the link was broken. But like MP pointed out, it says "adopted dog."

Me, too. :( Well, most of them. ;)

I didn't even look at anything more than the pictures and his little blurb... I didn't know they kept profiles up and could label them adopted! lol

I've 'saved' links to petfinder dogs I couldn't get out of my mind before. Usually they eventually get adopted and the links break. I have no idea why they'd keep him up.. but I hope it means he was adopted.

The hairless gene is dominant so a large percentage of hairless Chinese Crested mixes will be hairless. And for those who may be unaware, hairless does not neccesarily mean completely hairless. It is normal for patches of varying size to be present.
