I called last night before I went to bed, and they said she hadn't vomited or had diarrhea, and that she's doing great so far.

They told me I can call after 9am to check on her... so I'm waiting another 10 minutes.

I really hope we can pick her up this evening. It's hard seeing my spunky little girl so sick. She only weighs 2lbs, 12 ounces.

This is our first "emergency vet" visit we've ever had to do. Hopefully it will be the last for a while!

She made it through the night without any vomiting or diarrhea. Yay!

They want me to call back again at 3 (although I'm sure I'll be impatient and call around noon or so...) to see how she's doing, and hopefully she can come home tonight.

We've had her for less than 2 weeks, and it was already so strange not having her at home last night/this morning.

Ugh, I just called and they said the doctor is going to recheck her after 1pm. They wouldn't give me any more info except that she's still on her IV fluids and isn't showing any symptoms of distress or anything.

I wish they'd give me more info than that

Oh Jessie. I'm sorry I didn't see this earlier, but I only have occassional and limited computer use. You must be so anguished about poor little Emma. She's so tiny. How miserable for the little wee one. It is good that she got to the vet early though. I do hope she makes a full recovery soon. Sending positive vibes your way.
