I watched this and was completely horrafied/shocked. I am a Christian myself, and I can honestly say these people are doing this the wrong way! You cannot shove what you think down peoples throats and expect them to welcome it with open arms. These are the people that turn others off of the Christian faith. These are people who give Christians a bad name. And they wonder why people dont like them? This makes me sick. And look at thoes poor children! They do not even KNOW what the signs mean... It breaks my heart. They are showing exactly the opposite what Christians should show. They are very hateful. Christians are supposed to show love, Christ's love. and their not. They also say that when Christ comes back he will be holding their signs and picketing with them. Yeah right.

Ahh, the good ol' Phelps. Who own their own compound in the capital. Who give all of Kansas a worse religious rap than they already deserve. :rolleyes: I've had to put up with this schmuck and his band of nutters since I moved here way back in the day. There is no sane logic left in those people. I've tried.

is that the guy who goes to college campuses, stands in the middle of the common area, and tells girls they are going to hell for wearing lipstick? i went to smsu in springfield, mo and i think i remember this guy.

I think the idea is these people are so offensive, that regardless of your viewpoint on the Christian faith . . . well, they're a total turn off. On the other hand, They make your average raving fundamentalist look rational and tolerant by comparison . . .

Frankly, I wouldn't call these loons Christian . . they engage in behavior that I'm quite certain Jesus would have found replusive. They exhibit not the slightest ounce of Christian decency and compassion. They're fanatics all right, and they claim to be Christian, but Christians, they are not.

That video.. wow.... I don't even know where to begin, so I'm not going to... it speaks volumes in itself. But those signs.. OMG.... they were too much for me.. I started laughing.... if you're carrying around drivel like that, much less believing it, IMHO you're nuts.

I hate that they're teaching their children to be just like them... they were quizzing on that little boy... I just really dislike this family. They are so disrespectful... picketting at funerals? They can't even have the decency to allow a mourning family have a little respect at the funeral of their lost loved ones? They say that everyone around them except them are going to hell... I have a feeling they're going to get a rude awakening come judgement day.

I've run into this guy at SCSU in Minnesota on my way back to my dorm. If anything, he was free entertainment. The stuff that came out of his mouth was ridiculous.
