I am sorry for the loss of you dog. Kudos to you for looking at rescues as well.
Most Jrts live to be 15-16+ yrs young. Having said that, as Dekka already stated Jrts generally have far more natural prey drives than Norfolks, so that has to be considered.
Don't rush it, spend some time with the dogs, ask if you can try each of them on a trial basis for a week or weekend. The more time you spend with each of them, especially away from the rescue, the more you will have a better idea of each dogs temperament and personality.
