How about Kenneth Dale and call him Kendal ??? A combination of initials might work too ...my brother was a Jr. and his initials were G.F. ... Mom named him Geff.

well we just do not know! Mark was deadset on Kenneth until our arguement with my parents this weekend. Now he doesn't want the baby to have the same name as my "jerky" (I would say what he really said but it is REALLY bad) dad. So now we are back to square one. We are going to search through all the baby stuff this weekend so that may get his brain thinking about names though. I hope it does, or else this poor baby will go days without a name. Our poor Emily didn't have a name for about two or three days before I finally said "ok, her name is Emily and that's final!"

Gabriel is a good strong name too, and Gabe isn't a bad short.
I definitely agree :D My nephew's name is Gabriel, and we call him Gabe and Gabey for short. I think Gabriel is a gorgeous name and if you need to shorten it, it's cute.
