I don't support them and I'm not against them. I just think that they take it a little to far and want every bodiey to become vegitarians which there is noting wrong with being a vegitarian. I just like to eat meat instead of salads and stuff like that.

theres now a lot of meat stand ins, you can now eat nice food, and not have to b supporting cruel factory farmong.

I know i won't turn you against meat probably, but i want you to think about this...
You love your dog right, dog fur, imagine if your dog was bred, just to have its head beaten in or for it to be strangled or electracuted.

Its nota nice thought, i want to ask you to boycott furs and skins atleast.

Now that I am against. I'm not against factory raiseing if cattle, sheep, turkeys, ckickens, ducks, geese, and pigs only if the living conditions are something I would like to live in and only if they are not torchered.

a lot of those places arnt good.

battery hens, sows and veil calves are just a few of the animals tortured through poor living conditions,

for instance, pigs are sometimes moved by hitting them brutally with sticks.

battery hens cant even spread one wing,

and veil calves cant turn around or comfortably ly down

99% of the chicken for food indusrty are broiler chickens, chickens force fed way too much food, so fast, that there legs sometimes snap as they cant develop fast enough to carry the growing chicken, because of heat, and force feeding with drugs etc, chickens can be sent away at only 6 weeks of age

Being a vegetarian is becoming a trend with teens. Only way you can tell who are true to it is to ask a simple question and that is....Why are you a vegetarian? Almost everyone says because eating animals is gross. That may be so for them but MOST of the true vegetarians aren't against eating meat. Instead they're against the process that these animals go through to become that chunk of meat you find at the market. They're quality of life is horrible than they are often killed in inhumane ways causing these poor animals to suffer.

In some cases I feel they go overboard, in others I'm glad they're here. For example--they are offering a $1,000 reward to whoever can help them find the person who abused a Pit Bull (the one in my signature).

I am vegetarian--I was for about two years earlier on in my life and am again now...have been for around three years. The main reason I stopped eating meat three years ago is that whenever I would eat meat, I would just feel horrible and couldn't finish it. I don't dislike the taste of meat--I still crave it at times--but I'm happy being a veghead. I have an older sister who has been a vegetarian for who knows how many years. She does eat seafood and fish, I don't.

I was a vegetarian when I was younger, but the Doctor told me if I didn't start eating meat again I would be very ill indeed! I have quite bad anaemia, I don't like eggs or 90% of Cheeses, so I was becoming very malnutritioned!!
So I have to eat meat, the animals are treated very well here in France and they are all killed humanely so this makes me feel better about it!

I totally agree with PETA on their issues concerning Fur!! Does anyone else remember the year they stormed the cat walk at the Victoria Secret lingerie show in New York? I think it was 2002, because the supermodel Giselle had signed up to promote Fur for Blackglama. :D
