Well, my roommates learned why I told them to check before they let their dog outside to potty. :(

The lab was offleash again and luckily they heard/saw it and their dog ran it's tail inside fast enough that it didn't get to them. But again, a near miss. >_<

I tried calling AC to see since they've gotten the warning and they still did it, havent seen ACO here at all. but I tried at least. They still have a few days before the apartment can do anything.

This sucks. I would carry a big stick and if you have to use it. No more being patient or nice. I would have had it. Also can you get pics or video of it through your door. Pics speakl louder than words...

Have you tried bribery? Give the lab some treats....whats the old saying? The way to a Labs heart is through their stomach.
I would NEVER EVER EVER encourage or reward aggressive behavior.
EVER.
ESPECIALLY in a strange dog.
NO WAY.

It wouldn't be encouraging the aggressive behavior. It would be a way to show the dog you aren't a threat; if the dog no longer feels you are a threat, the dog will no longer act aggressive toward you.

For example, if we have a cage aggressive dog at FOHA (it happens now and then, new dogs are sometimes quite overwhelmed by all the noise etc. and get defensive), I get treats and make friends! Giving treats to the dog through his run teaches him that humans coming over to him is not a Scary Thing but a Good and Yummy Thing! It works well.

I probably wouldn't try to make friends with this lab though, from the description in the OP, he seems much too intent on attacking to notice food.
