CAN THEY GET ANY UGLIER!?

REALLY? A GIANT BLUE FLOWER

It is seriously crampin Merlin's style.

After the green bell horror I thought.. ok.. no way they are getting any worse.

LO AND BEHOLD

I kind of hate that he has to wear it all the time, it's hideous! His color is RED and it clashes!

Yea Maisy and Pip's rabies were both due this year and they got the blue flower. Squash lucked out and got into the red heart rotation.

Yeah, Stan just got his. The blue flower looks like crappy with his fetching tag and Paco Collar. It will go on a spare collar.

Does it have to be visible at all times? or can you fasten it into the inside of his collar or something?

If he wasn't such a BABY when it comes to his gear, I would totally try to hide it but he would just fuss at it for an hour. He is such a nudist, he hates wearing anything and I feel like the tag silencer thing just looks even weirder.

I'm not even sure what the official rules are about the tags/if they are supposed to be worn/shown at all times but I'm pretty sure they are. I am still waiting on his city license tag so there is something else I'll have to add on top of this monstrosity.

Squash is so lucky he got the heart!

Huh, I've never heard of having to have dogs actually WEAR the rabies tag 24/7...mine don't. They only wear FT. Always have.

Hm. Morgan's rabies tag is just a boring silver octagon. I never knew there were other "official" rabies tags. lol

As for having to wear the tag 24/7, I think it depends on the state/city and their dog licensing laws.

Well I usually carry their rabies tags and licenses on my keychain but if we are traveling I will clip them on the collar.

I kinda like it! Lol Lucy and Happy both have this one. Lucy doesn't wear it, and you can't see Happy's anyway... lol but still.

But do they actually need to wear the tag? As long as you have proof otherwise in the rare situation you'd need it?

I know that they must wear their city tag. I have seen dogs being asked to leave parks who aren't wearing them.

Which looks like this and isn't too bad

Not sure about rabies though.. putting it on a keychain is a great idea!

I got all the dog's licenses last month and they still aren't on their collars and won't be. Well, Sir's is on but I don't know why... I don't put rabies tags on their collars either. I think they cramp their style and look dumb as well. XD

The law is that they're both supposed to be visible at all times, but I have proof with me so IDGAF, honestly. We don't have animal control walking around writing citations anyway, and if they wanted to, with all the business I give them, then I'd just take it.

I hate mine. I keep my rabies and city tags on a separate rubit that I can attach to their collar if they need them on for whatever reason such as going to the dog park.

I have to see if I can get Hudson a replacement rabies tag. My MIL thought she clipped the leash onto the D-Ring of his collar, but really clipped it to the rabies tag...thing. Hudson hit the end of the leash and BOING....

Meg just got her rabies shot today, and it is the same blue tag. My dogs never wear their rabies or license tags - I keep both in the glovebox of my car, so I can pull it out and show proof if needed.

Huh. See I just don't think there is anyone here that actually enforces any rules. My dogs have never been licensed with the city either, even though they're "supposed" to be. I've just never been in a situation where I've needed to show proof of anything, I guess I've always had it in mind that if something came up where I had to... oops, they don't have their tag on, but I have a rabies certificate at home? You can call their vet if you'd like? Would they need instant proof? I DO keep everything, they just don't wear it.

Juno's rabies tag I actually really like! It's an acorn. :p Unfortunately it's just plain metal, nothing colorful. She's not wearing it at the moment either because I hate tags jingling. Happy is the only one that actually wears all her bling, her fur prevents obnoxious jingling :p

Last year, I requested my workplace order tiny, silver triangle shapes. I'm so glad that most of my dogs got those, lol. This year I think it's a blue bone. I dislike the colored tags..they wear so easily and are not attractive.

I have seen many owners take the info from their rabies tag and have it put on Boomerang tags or the like. So much more attractive

My dogs don't really wear their. Last year was red hearts. This year it's blue flowers. I have Logan's clipped to his vest. If he's not vested, it's not on him. He doesn't even wear a collar unless we're going somewhere, and then it's a martingale and I WILL NOT put tags on a martingale (unless it's designed to hold tags on a separate D-ring, and this one isn't).

I don't even know where Gavroche's is...

Technically they're supposed to wear them, but nobody here really enforces anything.

Wee don't have a city license tag. We have a paper city license. Logan's stays in his vest pocket. Gavroche's is...somewhere lol.
