Here they are! I am far from a photographer like some of you on here are, but wanted to show off my pups. Hutch is now 6 and a half and still going strong. A little slower than he used to be and with the facial nerve paralysis he is far from a pretty boy- but he's my boy! Abbey is 7 and still acts like she is 3. And little Seagle, he's 3 and a typical beagle--'nuff said!

I didn't know you have other dogs besides a Saint. lol Beautiful! Seagle looks like he's asking for trouble in the last picture, lol.

Not a pretty face? I beg to differ. That is a mug to die for. He's beautiful.

they are gorgeous.

I must have missed it. Just out of curiousity what caused the facial nerve paralysis. If you hadn't mentioned it I would have had no idea and actually still can't tell. he looks handsome to me :)

Hutch's FNP has been diagnosed as idiopathic. They ran a blood panel, seriously examined his thyroid and came up with no cause. Most of the time FNP is idiopathic and luckily enough time has lapsed that if it were a tumor we would have most likely had more symptoms show up. We decided against getting an MRI as that would have had us travel to another province and spent an arm and a leg on a very UNLIKELY reason. I love these pictures because it is so hard to tell that half of his face is paralized. The side that suffers is no longer droopier than the normal side because the muscles have atrophied and have made that side shorter now. So the only way you can tell is that is left eye is tighter than his right and when he pants his left side flew is obviously shorter than the right. Before his left ear wouldn't move, but he has regained movement there. If you look at the body shot of him you can see that one flew is longer than the other.

I love all of my dogs dearly, but Saint Bernards are my passion!

Pam, I wanted a big dog desperatly and my husband was AGAINST it! But when we went to meet Hutch for the first time I knew I had won the battle!

My husband likes them, too. It's the landlord who said only small or medium breeds. I wish he understood a small dog can be even more destructive than a large breed, but I will just have to wait until we own

I don't think I've ever seen pics of your dogs! They're gorgeous and your photography is really great too. You have any more to share?

I love seeing your dogs, and like everyone else, see no diminution in Hutch's handsomeness due to his facial nerve paralysis.

I do have some questions about Seagle. I notice the sharp line between the red and white on his muzzle is starting to blur. Has he always been like that? I ask because my Mini, who is supposed to be four has lost that sharp distinction in the last six months and the graying is spreading up to her eyebrows now. I can't figure out if her age is wrong, or if beagles get gray early (probobly because they live hard).

What a great looking crew you have! I don't know that I've ever seen them before. I've always been a fan of short coated St. Bernards for some reason. Hutch is a very handsome boy! Abbey is a really pretty girl, and Seagle is way too cute!
