Look on ebay. People get the free upgraded phones at the end of their two years, and sell them without using them if they want something else. You should be able to get a fairly good deal on a phone (especially if you don't care what kind of phone it is). T-mobile or an unlocked cingular/att phone will work.

It's the best place to buy a phone at a discount--otherwise you'll pay way and arm and a leg at the cell phone store.

Edit: Looks like they're going for $80 on ebay.

My experience with that phone was not good... My son had one that went "battery invalid" and I have heard it can be an issue with them... just my experience tho

Thanks for all your responses. I told the seller about all the negative reviews.. and he agrees to lower the price to $30

We'll meet during lunch time tomorrow at a cell phone booth in Costco to make a purchase.

I'm broke so every penny counts.

Plus, I was so so mad at myself for loosing the phone (it's the 3rd one within a year! ), I don't want to get an expensive replacement because of the fear (fact?) that I'd probably loose it again soon!

Hubby was mad at me, too. My last phone was his birthday gift to me

I had a Razr V3 for a loonnng time and absolutely loved it. It was like indestructable, lol. Until I accidently flushed in down the toilet. I had it hooked up through Rogers, and it worked great. My camera was actually pretty decent too even though it was only a 1.3 megapixel.

all i know is mine is pink lol.

i love it for talk, sound is of good quality and i dont have a problem with fuzzy calls, volume is good, as long as i have signal (even 1 bar) the sound is clear and crisp, i dont text so that was never an issue and picture quality is very good if in good light (im sure like any other cellphone camera lol)
I dont use my phone that much, its more a just in case thing, and ive found the batery lasts an entire 7 days for me.

my phone is now over a year old.

Ive droped it, dinged it, its been beaten pretty badly, its got a couple small scratches but is in good shape, the hinge is still strong (check this i know the earlier models of the razr had weak hinges) no worries on the screen and the casing is holding up realy well!
when we first got it it was over $100, they sell on ebay fro 80+ refurbished and lightly used.

i love my razr, it does what it needs to has a nice couple extras, has and still is taking a beating and still looks good lol.

$30 is a STEAL
