Unfortunately I don't. I called in to suspense my number, but can't upgrade my current plan, and thus get a free new phone until May 09.

I can't be without a cellphone for that long

All my friends used to have the V3 Razors and hated them. Are you on the verizon network?

If you where on the verizon network, then I would have my old one that I could of sent you. lol

They didn't like them because they never really got very good signal, poor quality and the camera was really really bad.

LOL, no it's not. Thanks for the words of caution anyway.

The guy bought it to replace his lost phone - but when his plan ended, decided to switch to a different provider and got a new phone through them, so this phone is no longer needed.

He said he only had it for 2 months, and will show me a receipt to prove it.

Thanks for the nice thought :)

I use T-Mobile.. so I'd need a phone that uses a sim card (I have an extra sim card alread and just need the phone!)

I'm one of those who use the phone stricky for talking. I don't use it to take/send pictures/videos or even text.. so I hope I won't be disappointed.

I do have an option of changing to a (free) new phone when the plan ends in a couple months.. if this one doesn't work out.

M&M, you'll have to go get the phone activated through T-mobile. Since the active sim card on your account is gone, the one you have (the extra one) probably isn't going to work if you just plug it into your phone.

Maybe have the guy meet you at the t-mobile store to make the sale, and you can make sure it will work on your account?

I called T-Mobile and asked already. They told me just get any phone (if I don't want to get one through them), and call them back and tell them the SIM card ID#, they'll re-activate my numbers, and I can start using it again.

It's a great idea to meet the guy at the T-Mobile store.. so I will do that. Thanks :)

won't that also reactivate your old lost phone too tho?
The sim cards will have differen #'s :) They just match a sim card number to an active account number.

Sounds like a good buy then, M&M! The razor was a pain in the butt to me for texting (I returned it after the trial period), but if you just make phone calls you will probably think it's fine :) The screen was nice and big and bright.

Do you know how much a new one would normally cost?

The cheaper price of a like-new one is certainly attractive, but if the saving is not much, I may as well get a brand-new one.
