    Dog Bite...

I know that your point really isn't as amusing as it sounds... :D I hope that the pain went away fast Wow that is really nice of that department. Lets hope that that kind of association will help them not fear the police and teach them how not to get into trouble when they are older

    Questions about Wolfhound breeders

I think that most people can handle them if they have room and start puppy classes asap. I've seen some really carm ones (unlike the great dane 'puppy' who wanted to play with EVERYONE. She was almost full grown) But be warned that these types of larger dogs usually don't like much past 8 years...

    Questions about Wolfhound breeders

All breeders are like that because they can get most money out of selling the show quality pups to breeders/show people than to those who just want one as pets. Becides, to their mind it doesn't matter to simple pet owners if their dog is show quality or not as they wont be breeding or doing...

    Not sure what breeD ?

I'm thinking Manchester Terrier cross Jack Russell. She looks nothing like any miniture Pins I have ever seen. So I don't think that its in her. But as cute as she is I wouldn't leave any cute furry small pets (like hamster, mouse etc) anywhere near her unless you want a 'present'

    Dog Bite...

o.O I just thank god that very few police carry guns around here. Hearing about the American Police force makes me really not ever want to go over there. It seems alot less safe than Turkey... Personally I think that all dogs that aren't purposly being used for breeding by proffesionals...

    Unusual Mix

I'd say a Spaniel and Border Collie too. Are 'Aussies' common? I've never seen one here in the UK. Someone who I know has a small dog with a little bit of lots of different breeds in it so she calls it a 'Bristish All Sorts' ;)

    Guard Dog

Akitas seem to only be okish with dogs they have grown up with in their house. Even some well known experts have had problems. Like the time when his male dog said hello first to the wrong female and the Akita almost killed that female.

Ure rhidge back will kill someone

What wrong with Ridgebacks? They look rather like a thickset version of the Vizzlar. Amusingly when my dog Bramble (very soft Red setter) was in the park this woman was actully standing onto of a picnic table wanting me to get the dog away from her. The dog wasn't actully anywhere near her...

    Guard Dog

No, not an Akita. Yes they are very loyal, but you can never take them to the park to play with other dogs, when they are older than puppies. Someone resently got one because he was told that they are good with children and other pets. They aren't and this one, I least heard was in a specialist...

    The Pitbull Problem?

You find that its alot of people who don't know how to treat dogs that buy the 'visous' looking ones and then are supprised that the dog eventully turns against them. I heard resently that someone just fed their dog lollypops. No-one who knows dogs would do that. Its not good for us and even...

    The Controversy..lol

I still have no idea, if its pure pitbul or not. Over here people keep mistaking Staffordshire Terriers as PittBulls, which mean the police then come and the poor owners have to explain that they aren't Pittbulls. Once of the sweetest dogs I've ever met was a Dobermon cross Rottveiler (the...

    pitbull x bullmastiff

I've never seen a pitbull in real life. They are illegal in the UK, unless you have some very special licence I think and are kept muzzled. Its because people breed them over hear with unstable temperments and so alot would be nice and suddenly they changed, turned arressive and there was...

What is the breed of dog that always looks like a Labrador Puppy?

Yes I think that it proberbly was the Patterdale Terrier. It does look like a Lab puppy :) A friend of mine wanted to know what the breed was so I came here to ask the experts. Its odd that I couldn't find it on dog breeds websites. Like it wasn't listed on the major US dog show as a...

it was black and labrador puppy shape and about 30cm tall. I met it in the street twice and both times the owner told me what it was and both times I forgot :o I think that it was about 5 years old.

What is the oddest breed you have ever seen?

Do half breeds count? The oddest dog I ever saw was a German Shepard cross Corgi. It had the Neck, legs and body of a Corgi and Head, tail and colouring of a German shephard. Also, what do you tell someone who is convinced that their dog is Half Alsation and Half German Shephard?
