Very frustrating habit i can't ignore anymore!

Thanks for the advice. I think I'll try the sit or down response as i don't want to put her in her crate for punishment and she'll just sit in the next room and bark or whine. i understand this is meerly an attention getter and she's still a pup, but i need to nip it in the bud now, while she's...

    barking problem

Thanks for your advice. I guess any prevention from me would be helpful. She knows how to sit, so I'll start with that. Beretta is 5 mos. old and a yellow lab. She's smart, but a little spoiled. Need to work on that!!

    barking problem

Hi all, it's been awhile since I've been on, but Beretta's been doing very well in the puppy traing department, except for one small problem. She barks at whomever she wants something from. If she thinks she needs a treat, she barks at me. I have learned to control this for the most part by...

    crate training probs

She usually is up at 4am to pee and I get up at 5:30 am. When I get her out after my shower she's not interested in going out, she's interested in being fed. If I do take her out first what do i do while I'm in the shower? Seems to me she would still cry until I got out.
