well, today was my first day doing weight watchers. It was ok. I'm doing the core plan for anybody who is familiar. I know you have to use "common sense" when you figure out your portions, but common sense isnt how i got here..... lol so im a bit worried that my idea of a large baked potato...

oh! also, the groomer said she's pure chow. Of course i will never know for sure, and it doesnt matter to me what she is, but I thought it was intertesting. I'm watching "Groomer Has It" now and they are all grooming chows. And Mushas twin is on. I think the groomer may be right.

Thats pretty funny. I just had a great chuckle. Well, I'm off to weght watchers tomorrow. My friend and I are joining together. We will go every sunday morning, followed by lunch and a matinee at the cinema. I think this will be a really good thing for both of us. Im totally psyched!

Musha did great!!! Oh she looks so pretty, not a big difference, she was just trimmed and shaped. her backside came out beautiful!!! And her tail is fluffy and gorgeous. She is also very shiny. She knows she's pretty. I'll try and get a better picture but heres one for now.. [/IMG]

i just finished "A Wolf at the Table" by Augusten Burroughs. I enjoyed it. I've read all his other memoirs and this didn't disappoint.

Ok i will leave her with the groomer. I won't stay. She was good for the vet so I'm sure she'll be good for the groomer. Thank you so much for your input. I really really appreciate it. :)

thank you for your reply. Everyone keeps telling me to do the lion cut but I don't think I will do that to her. I guess I'll just have her cleaned up and trimmed and brushed out really well. I've also heard that when chows are cut too short they seem to shed more because the hair just falls...

I am joining weight watchers on Sunday with a dear friend. I did it a few years back and it worked pretty well for me. I lost 75 lbs 5 years ago on a different program and gained 20 back over the past few years. I'd like to drop 20, but I'll take 15 to be a healthy 165 at 5'8". Anything less...

Ok well, Musha has an appointment to get groomed on Saturday. I'm really nervous. She doesn't like to get baths and this is the main reason why I'm taking her to a pro. She is a chow mix and is very hairy and shedding like mad. Do you think it's wise for me to stay when she gets groomed? I...
