The latest "fun"

So a few weeks ago I was pre aproved for $X by the mortgage broker. So we did the offer on the housd and such and sunk about$2000 into fees and other stuff. Well my mortgage broker called me Thurs night saying I wasnt approved for the mortgag that was $30,000 LESS that my preaproved amount. So we were VERRY upset and what not. Well fri morning she calls me back. The bank made a mistake! We are good to go. So today was the home inspection. That went good. Tuesday I sign the mortgage pappers!

I also want to add that our possesion date is May 30th. My 23rd birthday is May 31st! Nice present to myself. 6 figgures in dept but I will own a house. Our mortgage is $34.96 more than our rent for a 2 bedroom apartmen. Yay. House warming party is June 14th. Everyone is invited! LOL

Aww I'm so glad!!! Congrats!!!

Our latest problem is that the house appraised for $12,000 less than we're paying. And there's no way I'm paying that much more than a house is worth, and the people who own it can't afford to sell it for that much less. So no house for me yet

Dont worry it will happen for you. We have hit so many snags its not even funny. All the stress is worth it. The outside doesnt look promising. Nothing wrong with it. Jus VERRY plaim and such but the inside is verry nice. Will post pics when we move in.

thanks guys. It has been a verry stressfull time. But we are working through it. So excited. my first house. its not $350,000 house (mind you thats average now days around here :yikes: ) but its really nice. Alot nicer than alot of them out there. Its a bit big for just to two of us (plus dogs) but it leaves room for additions to the family both 4 and 2 legged
