I think it is good that your dog is alerting you (even if it gets annoying at times) of anyone comming or going in the night as long as he isn't attacking anyone :) You never know when something like that could scare off an intruder or possibly save your life... just my thought though

Just curious, how did you end up showing dogs? Start young or just getting into it? I guess you bought your current dogs for show purposes.

I just started brushing my Yorkie tonight (a little late I know). He wasn't very thrilled with it. I let him knaw on a treat or two while I worked the tangles out. I will start trying the above methods and try to get some progress.
