Dog on second floor balcony....was I wrong?

I don't want any trouble and just by knocking on there door to tell them what I think may have done that. I walk by the house often with my dog as well. A note I could have done but honestly didn't think of it. I figured the proper authorities would be better .

Dog on second floor balcony....was I wrong?

Oh, and one more thing :) I guess to some of you I should have turned the blind eye....but, if it were the summer, 95 degrees and I saw the yellow lab sitting on the top of the second floor balcony with no shelter or water panting because it was so hot should I have still turned a blind eye...

Dog on second floor balcony....was I wrong?

Its a two family house and it is far enough back from the street to see atop the floor of the balcony believe it or not. I'm driving on the opposite side of the street to see it clearly. Anyways, in my opinion thinks it is stupid to leave a young pup out on a second floor balcony in the windy...

Dog on second floor balcony....was I wrong?

He is only a 9 to 10 month old lab pup. His coat isnt very thick, as a matter of fact his coat is almost sparse. I have seen labs with ultra thick coats as I know they are hunting dogs and water retrievers so they have the extra protection. This guy is young and his coat is thin, I also have a...

Dog on second floor balcony....was I wrong?

Thanks :) seriously though, you would hope that the dog would be smart enough not to jump. But, my thought was that if another dog was going by the house with its owner and the balcony dog put his paws up over the 3 ft rails there is a chance of him falling if he leans over to far. That was my...

Dog on second floor balcony....was I wrong?

So yesterday I was driving through my neighborhood down a main st. Now, I knew of this family last spring who got a yellow lab puppy and seemed to love him to pieces. Now, that he is a 10 month old unaltered teen it seems as though his hang out spot is a front porch balcony with a 3 ft. rod iron...

    Neutering and Shedding??

Do these two things go hand in hand depending on breed? I have a 5 year old ACD intact male who sheds all the time. He is getting neutered next month as he was a show dog the first couple years of his life which is why he wasn't done sooner. Will neutering help the excessive shedding issues? He...

Flea, Tick Products Under Increased Scrutiny and making our dogs sick!

The thing that I find frightening the most is the fact that we as dog owners are putting something on our pets that is killing an insect. Think about it. It's like spraying a can of raid on them  I understand that some people have no choice because of where they live but you really do...

Flea, Tick Products Under Increased Scrutiny and making our dogs sick!

This has been a big thing here in Boston and has been getting alot of attention here on the news stations. I also use the all natural sentry defense stuff and I faithfully check Caiza after our daily romps through the woods. I do give heartguard but I have always been so skeptical over these...

Flea, Tick Products Under Increased Scrutiny and making our dogs sick!

I DON'T, WON'T and WILL never use those spot on treatments for my dog/dogs! EPA is investigating flea and tick treatments after thousands of complaints! Alls I have to say is....... IT IS ABOUT TIME!!!!! :( Flea, Tick Products Under Increased Scrutiny - Most Popular News Story - WCVB Boston
