I have a bunch of favorite GSDs now... but my top 2 are, my future baby's daddy:
Esko vom Klammeck IPO3, FO, PD1, P1, CGC, CD, Kkl1

& Puck vom Grafental SchHIII, AD, Kkl1

Spy is one of the most stunning BCs ever! and he's amazing :)

Contact Point's Whos Ur Daddy HSAs HXAs STDsd

For Cardigans, I LOVE Simon! One of the most adorable dogs in the world, amazing personality, & he reminds me so much of Fozzie. Idk his exact titles but he competes in confo, agility, obedience, errrythang.

CASPER! I was actually going to get one of his grandpuppies... hopefully a mostly white dog, and name him Yayo. I can still dream! Yes, he is a double merle, who is 100% healthy. His breeder is very reputable.

Nugget. I love this dog. He was the sire of the litter I was considering a puppy from. I LOVE his look & type, he's a teddy bear! Hopefully I'll get a pup from these lines someday.

FMBB World Champion Mecberger Chortoryiski IPO3. No secret here, we have TWO sons of his, and I've spent time with him in Europe twice.

I love him for his temperament, his calmness off the field, his looks, AND his working ability.

Here he is on the right, with one of our sons on the left.

Really, I love this dog, love what he is producing, and love the temperaments of his kids and himself.

I don't want to start anything but... all double merle breedings have a risk of producing lethal white (blind and/or deaf) puppies. I assume he's BAER and CERF tested... so thats all fine and dandy... but the whole premise of intentionally breeding a merle to a merle, to me, is irresponsible. Just saying.

It is also against the Cardigan Welsh Corgi club of America's code of ethics. It always makes me sad to see that being done.

Frankie Anrebri

Mambo z Pohranicni straze

Ambo ze Srdce Lva

Elis Hronovský Pramen

Those are just a few Czech dogs that are amazing. (I still have to go find my German faves!) For some reason IMO a lot (of course not all) of the bitches look very strange structurally.

Ebo vom Johnson Haus. I just love this dog. He's only 9 mos. old in this picture and I have no idea what he can do, but I'm drawn to him so much!

ETA: Oops! Grace, I think you posted Frankie? So sorry for any repeats.

BTW, this is only part 1 of my post in this thread, lol.

Thank you. I wanted to say something but decided to start a thread on double merle tomorrow. He is technically not "ok", either. Neither of his pupils is shaped correctly.

Even though I no longer have my Lucy, I still have my heart heavily invested in the chihuahua breed. So I hope no one minds if I contribute even though I don't have a chi anymore. . .

Many of the successful chis in the show ring have a muzzle that's too pushed in and turned up (JMO). I prefer more balanced dogs.

First- Tucker. :)

This dog ("Lazette") belongs to the one of the breeders I was considering getting my next chi from. She's beautifully balanced.

Ch. Misty Morn Cruz Control

Ch. Happi Daze Time to Believe

Am/Can Ch. Happi Daze Here's Your Chance

There are lots more but on my pic search I decided I should quit. I was looking at this dog and thinking, "WTF kind of chihuahua is that?" It was a Chinese Crested. I need sleep.

Nope, I actually haven't! The second male I posted, after Boy v Zorra, is Bravo Buchonia, a Frankie Anrebri grandson through Picasso Traho. I had also previously posted a picture of Francesco Anrebri, a Frankie son, in the "Based On Looks Alone" thread, with my preference for black sables and the lovely structure typically and consistently seen from the dogs at Kennel Anrebri. The F-litter Anrebri by Frankie is my favorite, Francesco and Frederica especially, from an aesthetic and conformational standpoint.

Another of Bill Kulla's dogs I like, Kway v Posthorn

I'm also a fan of Andy Maly Vah and what he has produced

Mambo is also a stunning male, I have seen his images posted online frequently, although I'm not sure if I can recall seeing him recently in any pedigrees I've looked at. Clearly, I need to get out and meet more dogs. Because of this thread, I've realized that I have absolutely no knowledge of the current (alive and reproducing) German Shepherds and that the little I do know about them individually, is second or third hand information. No wonder I'm still having so much trouble deciding what I want for my next GSD

I LOVE Casper! Followed him all over the net since I first found is bio page on this site: http://www.deafdogsatlas.com/profile/bioWA.html
Town: Auburn, Washington
Deaf dog: Casper is a 4 month old Cardigan Welsh Corgi. He is a double Merle Cardigan Welsh Corgi. He is the rare result of breeding two Blue Merles. He is deaf due to the hairs in his ears lack pigment. He is the smartest sweetest boy. We begin classes in January 2007 to be become a certified Delta Society Pet Partner. He loves going to dog shows and usually gets more attention than the dogs in the ring. We're very lucky that Casper is a member of our family.
Human companions: Kim Kiefer
Other pets: 1 other Cardigan Corgi, 1 Pembroke Corgi and 2 cats
Email: Unavailable
OOPS!!! So much for your theory .

I'll be back here later to post mine, need to go re-intro myself.

Yep, I noticed that too about his pupils. Double merle breeding is one of those things that just makes me mad.

In Malinois, my favorite is Harry's littermate brother, Havok. They are nearly twins, but Havok has a much more outgoing personality.

In AmStafs, my favorite bitch is Boca, third dog down on this page...

http://www.esotericamstaffs.com/females.html

Her sire, Danni, was one of my favorite males of all time. You can see both Boca and Danni on this page, with information about that particular bloodline.

http://www.redboysamstaffs.com/corvinoandtacoma.htm

One of my good friends is getting a Boca daughter bred to a Danni son tomorrow. I am so jealous, but the Maryland ruling makes me realize why I shouldn't get optimistic about Ohio and such. No more Stafs for me for a long time if ever.

And of course, Grant is a favorite. The more athletically built Staf has sadly become a rarity.

Toolalla Ted was the dog that made me stop dead in my tracks and go "Wow" and everything I had heard of him sounded like an awesome dog and great worker.

This little girl, Toolalla Bindi, has been on my radar since she was born and she's just turned into such a cool dog. If my girl turns out half as awesome as her I'll be happy. She's such a drivey little thing.

Toolalla Holly to me from the first time I saw her was just what I pictured when I pictured a Koolie. And she is supposed to be such an awesome worker and have an absolutely steller temperament. And is my girl's Momma

And to be perfectly honest I think my boy is a pretty steller Koolie
