might be more like 5-6-7 million. My ex had a premie and she was a million dollar baby (also medicaid) before she left the hospital.

You sure you want to deal with whatever genes she's contributed to the mix?

Okay. So now I'm remembering that movie, Raising Arizona :D
You really think they could end up any worse then my grouphome kids?! :yikes:
Gasp. At least I'd be able to give them a decent foundation for normalcy. Egads. I'm all for big families if a) You are financially stable b) there is a support group around you to help you and the children succeed c) there is a mom and dad type figure around to share the up bringing. and d) you're not a nut job.

I want a HUGE family, all sorts of foster and adopted kids. Not until I have a house that can support that many, and Tim has a stable, good paying job.
Crazy people. *wonders who would help with the kidnapping if I could guarantee a good home...*

That article floored me...it's incredible that she is so far into her illness that she cannot even ADMIT she is on public assistance and OTHERS are now and always have been caring for her children!!

I wonder what the commital laws are in Ca? her parents should look into getting her commited, and I am being serious.

And her parents need to kick her azz OUT and make her do it HERSELF to hasten the process.

This whole stupid thing makes me so ANGRY. I didn't even think of invitro stuff because the possibility of multiples, and the cost involved. I am in a commited relationship, have a nice house, am paying all of my bills, and these asshats have as many babies as they want and the government pays for it. I am still paying on a hospital bill from when I didn't have insurance, the doctor looked at me, said "here's some pain medicine" and kicked me out the door. So what, because I'm responsible I have to pay my bills but because she's insane she doesn't? All of those babies should be placed in protective custody. If ever there was a case of someone doing something for attention that's be it. *grumble and stares at baby cuteness and knows I have to wait until school is finished* *pouts*

Oh, don't forget she's going to be going back to school to finish her master's. She's going to use financial aid to raise her children (despite the fact that she owes more than $50,000 already in financial aid payouts) and she will be relying on volunteers to help with her children.

Seriously, if someone doesn't step in and intervene (aka take those children away from that loonybird) then I will lose any shred of respect I had left for the system.

To be honest? No, I don't. But I have a good friend, that I grew up with, who works in social services down here. And she's got a great heart and goes above and beyond to push the issues and has no problem pushing the stupid boundaries that confine her in her job. So I guess as long as she's a part of the system, I have a little hope.

I just can't believe she claims she's a wonderful mother because she'll be home to "hug" her children whenever they want, and (in her words) "How many moms can say that?"

Well....other moms often take responsibility to PAY THEIR FAMILY'S BILLS while taking care of their children. Sheesh.
