Anyone else do zumba? I was introduced to it last week when my neighbor told me about a place that has the class for $5 and childcare for $2.

I hate working out, and don't stick with the workout videos more than a few days, but I just got back from my 3rd class and can't wait to go again.

they have that class at the gym I go to, I haven't been brave enough to try it yet... the class is always so crowded and I just don't think my body can move like that..lol Everyone seems to love it, and it really does spike an interest in me.

Nancy, you should try it! No way I can shake like they do, but it is a lot of fun and a good way to get a workout without actually thinking about working out!

And you are so busy watching the instructor that no one knows what anyone else is doing, especially if the class is full.

Zumba is fun. The Y I'm a member at has classes. Depending on the instructor, some classes are more of a workout than others, but they are fun.

I'm pretty shy, and I have done them. They are crowded enough, and people are working hard enough watching the instructor and trying to keep up that they don't notice you. I usually get in the back row.

I got comfortable enough at it to be in the middle of the room but certainly not in the front.

The instructor I had tonight was different that the one I had in the previous classes and it seemed a lot harder. I was stuck in the front because the class was full when I got there!

what makes me chicken to try the class is because where they do the classes is in this room with big glass windows the whole way across and people walking by can look right in and see everyone.. including the people in the back row (my jiggling arse would be on display for the whole gym to see..lol)
