I know we've had this thread before but since we get new members regularly I thought it would be fun to have again :) I love names and am always adding to my list of potential future dog names. Next dog will probably be female and I've always had a much easier time coming up with boy names... ack! These are some names I've thought of, gathered from the Internet, and some from Chaz itself! Some are unisex.

Female:

Pixel
Kiwi
Kestrel
Tango
Piper
Roo (too close to Rowan/Ro though)
Jazz
Basil
Cricket
Shay
Ren
Sprocket

Male:
Hobbes - almost used this for Riff
Keno
Crowley
Chili
Stitch
Ping
Cobb
Pike
Cash
Briggs
Orion
Atlas
Adley
Badger
Dynamo
Pogo
Reno
Remy
Jasper
Bran
Dublin
Cairo
Indigo
Obi
Whiskey
Gambol

I'll have to look at my saved list of names tomorrow, too, lol.

Shyla
Scarlett
Nola :p
Layla (this will most likely be nextdogs name)
Tegan
Lila

BOYS:
Jet

Girl names are so much easier. :p

I can't come up with girl names to save me, which is bad because I like girls better than boys.

Here's my current list:

Edgar
Sheldon
Squirtle
Sizzle
Swift
Shift
Fiction
Rave
Flash
Skater

In my mind Nextdog is named Flynn. Probably means I'll end up with a girl. :p

My alternate is Pip which could go either way. I like the name Piper but a friend just named their pup that so...

I honestly don't even have any girl names saved because I'm almost positive I know next dog will be boy. I just like boys better lol. Sooo... girl names never crossed my mind.

But I also really like (according to my 'names' note in my phone)
Mason
Clyde
Cole (or Cohle)
Flynn
Walker
Wyatt
Jude
Tanner
Sawyer
Levi
Sullivan
Parker
Caleb
Lincoln
Rory
Kiefer
Grant
Finn
Harper (boy/girl)

My dogs are named on a mountain theme which is really tough for girl names... and most future dogs will probably be female just because of the size of greyhounds.

Nextdog will probably be Rush, named for Mount Rushmore.

Logan (Mount Logan)
Kayto/Kaytie (K2)
Everest
Kinley (Mount McKinley)
Kenya (Mount Kenya)
Andee (The Andes)
Airy (Air Mountains)
Rory (Mount Terror)
Shiv (Shivling)
Temple (Mount Temple)
Icon (Iconoclast Mountain)
Razor (Razorback Mountain)
Cayley (Mount Cayley)
Chill/Chilly (Mount Churchill)
Desi (Desolation Peak)
Delaney (Mount Delano)
Rainier (Mount Rainier)

I think a lot of those work for both girls and boys, though!

Haha, I have one of those lists too...and have never actually used a name off it.
Haha, same here! I had a short-ish one when I got Rowan, and Rowan wasn't on it :p I had a pretty long one when I got Riff, but I had thought of Riff right before I got him so it wasn't even really on the list. Maybe someday :p

Here are some more off of my longer list:

Cadenza
Melee
Sparrow
London
Tandem
Fable
Blink
Riddle
Mimic
Kazoo
Cobweb
Pan
Nix
Savvy
Hubble
Lincoln
Pirate
Ricochet
Bounce
Rook
Drover
Whimsy
Pirate

I guess I've built up a decent number of names that could work for girls!

I started this list a few years ago so some of them I'm kind of over... but I always seem to forget to add to it. Working at a vet clinic, I see a lot of interesting names!

Seamus
Jude
Finnegan
Wrigley
Daphne
Calamity
Gossip
Lyric
Remy
Tango
Scout
Rio
Envy
Havoc
Grace
Presley
Cooper
Tempe
Cajun
Savvy
Annie
Harper
Rue/Roux (would probably lean toward the easier spelling...)

I have so many favorite names! Let me consult my favorite names lists. Males are so much easier to name though and my male name list is much longer than my female list.

Names that WILL be used in the future:

Banjo (m)
Cowboy (m)
Dillinger (m) I had a fish with this name but that doesn't count...
Siren (f) <-- more than likely my next APBT. I think it goes so well with Pirate.

Other names that I like but won't necessarily use:

Soleil - I had a fish named this too but again, it doesn't count.
Rugby
Seamus
Berlin
Holland
Cayden
Juliet - Used on a chicken. I would consider it for my future daughter's middle name. If I have one. :)
Drover
Atom
Dublin - Also had a fish named this... I had a lot of fish.
Paisley
Pilot
Presley
Rowan
Rosalind
Tess
Samba
Sawyer
Shakespeare
Lincoln
Patriot
Edelweiss
Rouge

I also have favorite names for specific breeds, such as Waylon for a coonhound. Or Magenta for a GSD.

I'll keep it at that. I have too many favorite names!

I also prefer males and male names. I love strong, masculine names and I also like more human-type names.

I think my next dog will be a Mason. I would call him Mace too.

I had this whole long list of names with registered names and call names when I got Bean, and then I didn't name him anything on it LOL

My favorites were
[kennel] Improbable Journey (Trek)
[kennel] Never Gonna Give You Up (Rick)
[kennel] What the Thunder Said (Boom)

for a girl I really like
[kennel] The Faerie's Revenge (Fae)

Right now I really like River. I have a list of other names somewhere that I will post.

ETA:

Ferry
Sirius
Remy
Silas
Mortimer/Morty
Wesley
Jake
Indigo

Can you tell I want a boy next? I really don't know what I'd name a girl. I guess River, Indigo, and Ferry work for a girl.

ETA2: I like Lyric and Scout for a girl also
