Big puffy poofy ears! lol

Comes in handy for tugging when they play fight with each other. They only stay nice for a short little while after their bath. :D

Gunnar has ears that can collect satellite signals. Bruzer has the rose type of ear, sorta a folded floppy.

Meg's have the same variations as Jess' Chloe - sometimes rose, sometimes forward-facing flop. Rose ears and enormous prick ears are my favorites:)

Let's see...

We've got two sets of cropped 'n' standing ears - one set is a modified show crop, and one set is a show crop...

...and one set of GIGANTIC erect ears!

Hmm, I know nothing about crops but since i'm bored I'll take a stab. Looks like Ilsa's is slightly shorter and wider at the base than Ronin's?

Ada and Fozzie totally win the hugantic ears award.

Oh, and Eve's ears are up today.

Zoom, RD is correct - my breeder has her pet puppies given a "modified" show crop, really a crop specific to "her" cropper. It's as long as a show crop, but the bell is wider. Also, my breeder's cropper leaves a "scallop" at the top of the ear, and the scallop is less exaggerated on a modified show crop.

Ilsa's ears were naturally VERY short - you can see the tips if you examine them closely, so the only difference between what she has and what she would have had if she'd been a show dog is the width of the bell.

My breeder stays away from "donkey ears" - which I see as a good thing. Her crops are almost always moderate in length, and customized to fit each individual dog.

In this photo, youcan sort of see the scallop. The ear on the other side is more scalloped - it's got an actual "tag" on the tip of the ear, but you can see on the ear facing the camera how the line of the ear swoops back.

And here, on Ilsa's ears, you can see how the scallop at th etip of the ear is practically nonexistent.

All my dogs' ears are all natural and floppy. A.j. and Wiener (my sister's Dachshund) both have ears normal for their breeds and Sophie has ears kinda like a lab, maybe.

Wiener's big ears:

Compared to his head, Wiener has the biggest ears of my 3 dogs, then A.j., and then Sophie, shes the smallest-eared dog i have.
