Your current favorite band?

I know it varies depending on mood and it can change quick but who right now is your favorite band(s)?

I'll admit I am into old punk bands. It's just the kind of music that appeals to me. Right now I am loving Sham 69. I've known about them for a awhile (obviously not as long as they've been around since before I was born) and I'm just really diggin' them. My friend's dad and I were in their basement listening to old tunes and I have a new found love for them.

How about y'all? What tunes are playing on your music machines?

Right now it's Fall Out Boy, and it has been a for a while. Before that it was The Format, Motion City Soundtrack, or Yellowcard probably.

It's the only band that no matter what I am doing or how I am feeling I can pop in one of their CDs and be in total bliss. As much as I love other bands and styles of music (ex. I love Timbaland) sometimes I just dont feel like listening to them.

i'm a big fan of Trance Genre... so, i can't talk about favorite band, but... i can speak about favorite DJ and that is... DJ Tiesto. i also like Armin van Buuren, Above and Beyond, Sasha, John Digweed, Paul van Dyke, BT, ATB... and many others.

i love The Band, extremly talented in their own right, they were also the back up band for ronnie hawkins and bob dylan. they have a very roots rock/country/funk/bluesey sound. not to mention the farewell concert "the last waltz" is the best rock doc you will ever see with musical geust such as bob dylan, emmylou harris, dr. john, muddy waters, neil young, neil diamond,van morrison, eric clapton, the staple singers and others

Depends on the mood. I'm all over the place. Metallica and Monster Magnet get the most plays on my iPod and have for many months now though.

Meredith Brooks gets a lot of play too, and there are a few of Jewel's songs that I listen to a lot.

30 Seconds To Mars will always be my favorite band. For my whole life. Seriously. It's not because of their music, it's the world they created BEHIND it. With hidden meanings, symbology, music videos, cover art, "missions" for the echelon (like find the Argus Apocraphex), and lots of other stuff.
