We have a log near our driveway that Dakota never noticed until our walk this evening. He thought it was an agility obstacle  climbed all over it and was acting like SUCH a ham that I had to run in and grab my camera :D

I accidentally turned the flash on for this one, it ruined his eyes :(

The reason his ears look bald is because they are :p a neighbor kid was playing with him today and when she bent down to kiss him, her gum popped out of his mouth and got all over his ear. I shaved the ear to get rid of the gum but it looked weird with just one short-haired ear, so I had to do the other.

Awww Heheheheh!!!

He as such an AWSOME coat! What food do you feed him?

I had to trim Lizzie's ear not too long ago...she had a knot that I could not get out...now I brush her a LOT more!

*More Grace, More Graces, More Grace* :p :D

Jennifer, he eats Innova EVO red meat, and gets some raw meals once in a while. I need to groom him up pretty soon, he's starting to look a little scraggly.

Lauren, he's just a camera wh0re. :D When he sees it around my neck, he will toss his hair around and pose on his own. Plus, if I like a position he's in, I can tell him "freeze" and he'll hold it.

Scraggly for Dakota, Tessa. :D That dog usually never has a hair out of place.

I'm a bit obsessive about grooming, too. Weekly baths and trims for both of them.

I have to force myself to set aside a half day for grooming. A bath and blowdry for Ripley takes about an hour and the trims take another 15 minutes. Dakota takes about 3 hours, 2 of those are spent on drying alone. I really need a good, high-velocity forced air dryer to make grooming easier, lol!

What beautiful pictures! I have to ask, what camera do you use? All of your pictures are so clear and so...perfect!

Dakota is such a beautiful dog. A real ham too!
