I don't know if I ever mentioned what my hubby got me for Christmas. It was one of those newer styled TALL dining room sets. I was not comfortable sitting at that table because I am too large and my legs just hung there off the edge of the chair with nothing to rest them on.
So.. I asked him if he would mind taking that set back and let me pick another set out that was more suitable. So, he brought that back and I picked out another one.. and of course the one I picked out was about 300 bucks more than the one he brought home first. He teases me all the time and tells me I have expensive taste. I don't know that it's that I have expensive taste or I just like the things I like. I would have chosen this particular table even if it was one of the cheapest ones in the store.
Anyway.. they told us it was a custom order and had to be ordered from the manufacturer and would not be in until march 5th. I guess they underestimated the manufacturer because my table set is in. TJ's going to go pick it up right now. They would have delivered it to our house, but they charge a bundle of money to do that and this store is only like 5 miles down the road and we have a pick up truck. So, we're gonna save us a little money having him get it himself.
I hope it's as nice as it looked in the catalog pictures. I get nervous buying things from a picture. I'll take pics of it when we get it all set up!
