So if anyone has been wondering why Tucker still isn't neutered here is the deal...My mom can be dumb....Lol I have talked to her a million times about how in the long run neutering Tucker would be best for him. But she never thought it was a big deal and said he would be fine. Well now that she has thought about it more and they way he has been acting since he has "matured". She has finally decided she would like to have him neutered. YES YES YES!!!!!! I win lol. So she just needs to figure out when she wants it done and when she can afford it and we will call the vet.

FINALLY

YAY, glad she said yes!
Me too :D . Its so hard because if he was mine I would have taken him a long time ago. But he is my moms dog and even though she doesent deal with his basic care like I do I have to respect that. I keep on telling her all these things because I am going to move out eventually and I can't take care of him forever like I have. So she is slowly doing more with him which is great.

Can I just ask why you are so glad to get your dog neutered?
Because we are not breeders. And we also do not show our dogs. There is no reason for him not to be neutered. Also he is one little ball of hormones right now and wild energy. So hopefully having him neutered will chill him out a bit. If not thats okay too. Atleast he isn't getting any female dogs accidently pregnant.

I not intending on breeding my Westie Archie but I wouldnt risk his life for no reason. I completely understand why it needs to be done and agree that it make huge differences in dogs but I suppose I am lucky that Archies tempremant is so calm and non aggresive. It just worries me so much cos I know a few dogs that didnt come round after this op just like many humans dont. I wish you the very best of luck with the op and let us know how it all goes please.

Yay :D

Feebee, I would much rather have my dogs fixed than worry about certain types of cancers. Is there the chance of them dying in surgery? Yes. But I don't know ANYONE who's dog has died while being spayed or neutered.
