For financial reasons I recently switched from TOTW Venison to Diamond Naturals Lamb formula. I wasn't able to do the 1 to 2 week process of introducing the new food. I had to do it in 3 days. Sancho had mustard yellow diarrhea yesterday. The vet told me to put him on a boiled chicken and rice diet for the next couple of days. Today a majority of his 1st stool was normal with just a couple firm yellow pieces. The last 2 stools were firm and yellow as well. My other dog Tron is just fine. I'm not sure if it's the food he's reacting to or something else. Has anyone experienced this?

Some dogs need to transition to a new dog food and other can switch without a problem.

I looked on the internet for yellow stools and found the below. Maybe the new food isn't agreeing with him, specifically the lamb.

Yellow stool - Food intolerance which means your dog is having trouble digesting a particular food) - if you introduced something new to your dogs diet that they are having trouble digesting.
