Pembroke? I think not.

Looks like a purebred, but the tail throws me way off. Cardigan maybe?

Cardigan tails don't usually curl over the back, to my knowledge....

I've never seen a Pembroke with a tail so I'm not sure how it lays but it coupld possibly be purebred. Maybe its a Pem/Cardi mix? lol...sorry, don't know much about Corgis.

Cardis have very LOW tailsets. I think that is an undocked pem.

its certainly purebred, and its the breed its listed as - its simply not docked. mostpeople never see these breeds with a full tail, so that is why its surprising.

nothing mixed about it.

I agree, when I was doing research on the breed before I got Izzy and Frodo, I ran into a lot of dogs that didn't have their tails docked, most of them were not from the U.S.

I think it's kind of the same thing as the Rotties in Germany (I think it's Germany) when they don't dock their tales. It looks weird to people who have always seen rotties with docked tails. Hope that makes sense :)

I've never seen a pembroke with a curly tail like that. I've seen them "undocked," but their tails just trail along behind.

If its not mixed that is the most poorly bred corgi ever. I've never seen one with such a bad face and those ears look so thin!

Just b/c they don't USUALLY have a curled tail dones't mean that they CAN'T :) My Border Collie has a curled tail & they are in no circumstances suppose to have curled tails.

Some are docked and some are natural. My girl has absolutely nothing there and was born like that. Some are born with a stump but I have never heard of them being born with a full tail but I guess it all depends on the genes. Most have the little remnant like with the boxer stump they tried to create.

Yes...they're docked when they are 2-3 days old. I had to take Chloe puppies in and have them done!:( I didn't like doing it all.
