I'll take more tomorrow. She's asleep on my foot right now and I can't move until she decides to wake up. Now you know why I spend so much time on the forum. I'm a puppy pillow!

Renee750il,

It's a shame they aren't available to you there . . . are they banned? They would fit perfectly.

I really can't imagine ever NOT living with Filas now, and they're like potato chips. You can't stop at one :D

No love, they're not banned. We don't have BSL (bull sh*t laws) here. I don't think many people here even know that they exist. You say 'Fila' and they get this look of total incomprehension on their faces. Even at the dog shows. You can find thousands of Maltese in any given suburb and every second person has one of the bull breeds, but the Mastiffs are few and far between. I've even had people ask whether Wraith was a 'real dog'. Dinkum. You would not believe how many people have asked me whether I intend to breed and who have even asked, while my male was still alive, if I would allow him to mate with their dogs (several different breeds). As if! Don't believe in crossing dogs. They are soon put off by the questions I ask about their reasons for wanting to aquire a giant protection breed and what they intend to do with it once they have it. Education about these dogs is virtually unknown here and I'd like to see that change before I even think about it.
