No way jose! I remember being a little kid and knowing Ol' Roy was garbage... I don't see how millions of people feed that to their dogs and sleep at night. And, no, it's not a matter of money. Feeding a medium/high quality food is actually cheaper if you compare pounds to calories. If I was in the position where I had only enough money to buy a bag of Ol' Roy, I'd buy some cheap raw meaty bones instead. You can find stuff for $0.10/pound!
My friend was talking about how GREAT she felt for getting a bag of Ol' Roy for a homeless person who has a dog, and is always roaming around where she works. The homeless man was ecstatic. I wasn't that impressed, I donate quality food directly to the animal shelter, and she feeds TOTW and knows better.
It made me feel so bad for that dog... he's lucky if he gets Ol' Roy. So sad.
