would dogs like golden syrup

Hello do you think my dog would like golden syrup
or does it matter what kind of dog it is?

Golden Syrup you mean maple syrup, or another sugary type syrup...or is this a name of a new dog treat

If it's corn syrup, maple syrup etc. I would stay away from them...all dogs included as they are basically just sugar.

The reason I asked if Golden Syrup was perhaps a treat...a few years back I was very embarrassed....

People on a dog chat forum were recommending Chicken Soup...I thought they were recommending Campbells chicken soup...full of salt and all kinds of unhealthy things for animals and humans alike. I was horrified that people were feeding chicken soup to their dogs (the canned stuff as people were saying it was purchased...homemade chicken soup would be healthy). I told people how awful it was for a dog....I found out it was dog food, and an OK dog food at that. Was I ever embarrassed. haha
