I took Summer out as usual at 6 am then went back to bed. About an hour later I'm dreaming until I notice Summer crawling on top of me and whining. That's usually the sign that she wants me to get up and take her outside. I think, "I just took you out!' and I mumble '5 more minutes'. She steps up on my chest and whines urgently again so I open my eyes just in time to see her.... projectile vomit in my face. :(

Wonderful wake up. I've showered twice and have my sheets and comforter in the wash. I'm trying to find the bright side of this (and I admit it's kind of funny NOW after the fact). She is feeling better though and I'm right now very thankful she's a papillon sized dog instead of a mastiff sized one. :yikes:

Dogs are so much fun. /sarcasm/

Oh, that is a pretty bad wake-up call . . . but at least it wasn't diarrhea.

I'd crashed really early the other night after being up all night long writing on a deadline the night before, so the dogs ate a lot earlier than usual, which meant Kharma had an empty belly a lot earlier than usual . . . so she puked that yellow bile on the bed. The bed I'd just changed. I only have one set of sheets that fit it . . . Up side is that I got to sleep in a clean bed two nights in a row, lol.

EW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My ex's dog did that to me once. Apparently she had found my "morning look" very repulsive. *eyeroll*

As gross as that is, it did give me a chuckle :D

I hope she is feeling better and it was a one time only deal!

Is it awful of me that I laughed at the thought of this?

But then I imagined me in your situation and you have my *deepest* sympathy. Gross!

Only dog that's come close to doing that to me would be Psyche and as SOON as she started gaging, she got off of my bed... She sees my bed as OUR bed, so she doesn't like to do any of that icky stuff there. :p

Ewww! But I did get a bit of a giggle. Sorry. :p

Yeah, it was pretty gross. Unfortunately she ended up throwing up two more times yesterday. Just when I decided it would be to the vet the first thing today, she started acting normal. She was mopey all day long, just really pathetic. We've had an awful stomach bug going around here. Nard had it a few days ago and it was the same story- out for a little less than a day then magically better.

No nasty wake ups today though. ;)
