And here's another gem:
Man accused of attack with wasabi-soaked jeans
OUCH... wasabi in the eyes? Ouch ouch ouch.
ugh. Superglue is NOT fun to mess with.
I was building a model for college - with superglue and basically glued the model to my finger on accident. -.-
I love this line about the super glue: "We're looking at it. Right now, I wouldn't be prepared to say which way it was -- accident or intention,"
How does one go about "accidentally" covering a toilet seat in super glue? I don't know about other people but the last thing on my mind when going to the bathroom would be "oh there's the super glue, better bring that in with me!"
Why is the girl being assaulted by her boyfriend remotely funny? Destroying her belongings and assaulting her because a guy texted her? He sounds controlling, abusive, violent, and unstable. He SHOULD be in jail.
For the record, wasabi in the eye hurts more than pepper spray.
I don't think anyone is saying he is anything other than all those things. It's odd kind of funny not nessecarily haha funny more like a "WTF?" sort of thing. I mean... he took her pants (although how they ended up not being ON her is weird) and poured wasabi on them and then started swinging them around and slapped her with them... yes he's a took, a jerk, unstable, violent, abusive... but he's also incredibly odd.
Doesn't superglue dry fast? Like someone couldn't leave it on the seat long term before someone got there?
It's not really funny, per say, but it's just really bizarre. I mean, who takes $200 designer jeans and covers them with wasabi? That would take a LOT of wasabi to cover up jeans.
It's just so random. It reminds me of Mad Libs... pick an item (jeans), a food sauce (wasabi), and an action (throwing). That's the only way I can logically imagine coming up with that plan!
Yeah it's pretty quick once you press something onto it but it does take a little bit if you are just dumping on a flat surface and waiting for it to dry.
Ok, I'm glad I'm not the only one puzzled about how someone being superglued to a public toilet could be an accident-lol!
Lots of people who are dating and sleep over at each other's houses leave clothes and toiletries at their SOs home.
Thing is, it was posted with :rofl1: underneath it as opposed to . I have never at any point viewed :rofl1: = WTF?. And that's the whole point of smileys you know, to clarify words on a forum where we can't see each others faces and stuff.
Then I must have misread it because I thought they were in the car when it started
Yes i saw the smiley. I don't know why the sarcasm is nessecary
Are you having a bad day or something?
Tanya, I thought it was odd as well... he took her pants, but they were in the car when it started. I've never left pants in anyone's car before. It's not really a typical place to leave pants.
I guess I just don't find domestic violence remotely funny. No matter how weird or unconventional the perpetrator's methods are.
I've left my pants in a car before.
FWIW I read the :rofl1: smiley the same way and I agree.
everytime I hear wasabi, I think of an old budweiser commercial
Oh man... thanks for bringing back that memory lol. I was in highschool and that stupid phrase caught like wildfire lol
