He's gotten more than enough food and treats today, exercise, has been taken on several potty breaks recently.. but he's so whiny! I've been sick so he's gotten loads of attention all day.

And yet Middie keeps giving me these looks. He's expecting me to do something but I don't know what it is...

Thunder is doing alot of that lately too... of course he is teething he is a puppy and he thinks we should cater to him, he did get hurt a few times this week( simply by not watching where he was going and slipped on some ice) but, all in all he does whine alot.. im not sure what to say, if Middie is a pup that could be why, but, if he is older dont know what to say. good luck.

how old is middie? if he's still young, it is prett common for younger dogs to be very needy. if he's older, it can be a bit more complicated. just make sure that you avoid giving too much attention when middie is whining. i am not saying dont give him attention, just make sure to do it when he's not whining. i know this sounds hard, but if you do it when middie whines, he wil associate that when he whines he gets attention. this will lead to more whining and needy behaviour.

Mine get whiny for many reasons: upset tummies, a toy stuck under something that they can't reach, they're cold, etc.

Mostly it's because they've pushed a toy under the couch. I'm not sure if Middie is that toy-driven though. Definitely a possibility though!

I try not to even make eye-contact when he whines because he does it so insistently in his crate, Felix. It was just getting insane yesterday... lol

Well. I figured out what it was. He wanted a KITTY. As soon as Emma and Tom came in the room he quieted and took a nap.

Bodhi is like that...... expectant... She always was a whinger though from being a pup :D

I just go through the list, and if she keeps at it, tell her to go to bed, and she usually does :D

He's being whiny right now, too, because my parents are in the kitchen cooking and he's stuck in the other room with me.. poor pup.
