Well then, you did not have Belgian GSD, which is what I have :p He is as fast and as athletic as my DS was and far from agreeable - he's got a wicked temper. Pretty much exactly like my DS actually overall but he's a tad more argumentative and his nerve is stable. I think he's an oddity though (he's small too, 62 lbs), everyone said not to expect my GSD to be even close to as drivey/athletic/fast as my DS and I've been very pleasantly surprised. But, we also have his 1/2 brother, who is a hulk at 95 lbs and very...clumsy LOL But good drive ;)

Mine was Mal back there somewhere, he was KNPV lines - do those lines even exist without crossover? haha
Huh...I knew a few people who had Belgian GSDs. Just watching them put me to sleep...

Of course there was also the American GSD I fostered. He had a nervous breakdown.

And I'm not sure anything in KNPV is purebred.

Hey now! I've always liked you - don't make me go off changing my mind :lol-sign:

I don't have a problem acknowledging that my West German working GSD is physically slow and awfully agreeable in temperament, because he absolutely is and I love it. Some of us like to hang on to the last remaining shreds of our sanity, thanks :D ...but for what it's worth, you ought to meet FG167 and Jason's Kastle and Ike. I don't think they'd LET you fall asleep even if you tried :rofl1: Man stopping presence, and they don't lack in the flash department, either.

I have to wait until the Belgians aren't looking to reveal their secrets ;)

PFFT!!

I had working line GSDs. I had West German, I had Czech. Never again. Too slow and too agreeable, TYVM.
Definitely depends on the dog. My GSD had a lot of Oomph, nothing one bit slow about her. Agreeable, sure except when she decided she knew which way the course went better than me or when I wanted her to hit the yellow on contacts. She destroyed the first agility course she competed on. Destroyed, as in they had to call the course builders back in. Tunnels were totally unwappred and moved, jumps and bars were everywhere. She was a little excited :rofl1:

Why thanks! :D I've been told quite a few times that Kastle is a malinois in a GSD body but better hahahahahhaahah :D

That is awesome. And something that I would totally expect out of both of our boys. So...did you Q ;) LOL

He does do that. Very handsome!

Nah, not really dependent on the dog in this case. It's dependent on my hyperawareness and hypersensitivity issues. They're a fraction of a second slower than I can tolerate. Very few others would even notice.:p
