Voodoo is at the height of his clumsy adolescent stage. It seems like he can't walk more than a few feet without knocking something over, tripping or whacking his head on something.

Heehee, it's actually kind of cute. He was pouncing on his chew-bone this morning, overshot and ended up ramming his head into the couch. Of course, I don't think it's so cute when he's knocking over things with his butt. I guess that's the downside with a larger dog. But oh well, this too shall pass.

I remember when Zeus was in this stage. Poor thing, he was worse than Voodoo. He'd trip over his own feet while running. I guess it's those skinny giraffe legs of his that threw him off.

Anybody else dealing with an uncoordinated pup?

Hades is super clutzy. He's constantly whacking his head of walls, doors, coffee tables etc. He does sliding face plants often at the park while romping around with Roxy. He's actually got some grass stains on his beautiful white socks right now actually! LOL

It's almost like he doesn't realize the size and location of his head sometimes. He'll go to turn around and walk right into a wall! Or smack his head off the corner of the coffee table! Poor guy, I hope he grows out of it before he has serious brain damage! LOL

For some reason gemp,I just can't see Zeus wiping out. He seems to have grown into himself quite well. Now Voodoo, that look on his face in your siggy and just his aura, have the "puppy look". The "If I wipe out I'm gonna get up and keep going look". LMAO

When Charlie was a puppy he was very clumsy! He would run around the house, slide accross floors and bang into walls. Sometimes he wouldn't watch where he was going and smack into the side of the door frame. He also ran into his dog house before when he was bringing his ball back. You'd think he was blind, lol.

Heh, maybe this will help...

He's about 13 months in this pic. I actually managed to get him in mid-stumble. An instant later, he nearly did a face plant into the grass. At least he has become quite coordinated now that he's grown up.

Heehee, poor klutzy Hades. I hope he grows out of it before he breaks something.

And AusCat, I bet little Charlie was sooo cute! I think ACDs are just adorable as squishy babies.

LMAO. That's a great pic! You can see he's like "I'm happy! So happy! But what's this... am I falling?"

Yep, my mind has definitely changed! LOL. Look how long his legs are though! Poor guy!

No clumsy pups here. Although they are tons of entertainment when they do get into their clumsy stage. Nothing like watching them running around and the ground seems to have dissapeared under thier feet:D The worst I witnessed is one of my dogs doing a front flip. I was a bit scared but he got up like it was nothing:eek:

Hannah was very clumsy as a puppy. She tripped over her own feet, run into walls, and knocked stuff over. Hannah still, to this day, will run face first into a wall when she gets excited and starts running around.

Every so often Gunner will take a running start for the couch. He'll jump, but to soon, and end up half-way on the couch after bouncing off the edge with his midsection. Poor guy...it's funny, but ya know it's gotta hurt sometimes.

Other times he'll be running around the house and turn a corner to quick, or look the other way while turning, and whack his little head on the wall. lmao...poor Gunner.

Every so often he'll trip on his own feet, but not to the point of falling over. Usually that happens when him and Tira are playing on the floor and he decides to get up and try to run real fast. LMAO...ohhhhh Gunner. He'll grow out of it one day. :D

lmao @ LabBreeder

The couch thing! Hades used to do that too! LMAO. We ended up having to put our hands on the back of his neck, and he'd push back and pull himself up.. LOL

He can get on the couch if he does it calmly without all the hoop-la of a running start. :)
As for the hand behind the head thing...well, he's picky. He can't quite get into the recliner without help yet so we put a hand behind his head and he would just look at us like we were stupid and doing it all wrong! lol We had to have our wrist/lower arm on his neck (like he's not really getting help) before he'll throw his head back and get in the chair.

Tucker is the defination of clumsy lol. He falls off the bed or couch when he is scratching or licking himself lol. He trips over his own feet, he bumps his head, he slides across the kitchen floor. Lol he is truly entertaining :). Disney doesent seem to clumsy really.

Clumsy puppies? The Riot Grrrrls? Surely you jest . . .

Although this seems to tell a different story: http://www.chazhound.com/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=7930&cat=500&ppuser=148&sl=r (notice the cleverly hidden pizza box  )

or this: http://www.chazhound.com/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=259&cat=500&ppuser=148&sl=r She obviously had no intention of putting herself in that particular predicament . . .

Once Shiva found out that we'd laugh when she did a somersault or when she dripped off of the sofa like some sort of blob she'd do it over and over.

And you can bet looking at the size of those feet that Miss Kharma had her share of "moments" http://www.chazhound.com/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=1407&cat=500&ppuser=148&sl=r

Bimmer, I'll have to say, was never clumsy. I remember seeing him jump up three feet and landing - with all four feet together - on the three-quarter inch wide edge of the retaining wall in my front yard . . . and his ears weren't even standing up yet!

Marley is sooo cute!

She's overconfident, which ends in clumsiness. She'll take a run at the deck, and leap up and land with her front paw, but the back ones won't follow her amazing jump and she'll get a worried look on her face. I just giggle and help her up. She's also almost big enough to get on the couch by herself. Just a few more inches. When I get back from my trip she'll be sooo big!
