Daisy & Keena are bffs here... they don't really have other friends lol. Rage has recently gotten really social, she loves the mastiffs at the dog park & she seems to enjoy Elsie's company when she sees her. Her real loves are her hunting friends back in PA, mostly
Bear and Storm. Liz likes people more than dogs.

I just spent 15 minutes looking for a photo of him but I can't find one. I'll have to get some next time he is over.

Probably Quinn's only real friend belongs to my mum's friend, he is mostly BC but may have some Bull Arab or something in him somewhere, he was bred as a cattle dog.
They only get to see each other every few months and when they do Quinn can spot him from across the paddocks straight away.
Wthey get together it is "OMFG LOVE!!!!" for like 5 minutes while they run and wrestle and play then its "nevermind, lets go sit together and watch the horses through the fence - more fun"
They are so similar its funny, they are built pretty similar expect he is atleast twice as tall as her. They are both smooth coats and he's marked like a BC but has a diluted blue coat and drop ears. Must get photos next time.

Cali would like to think everyone is her best friend, but as of right now, she doesn't really have a playing buddy.. as there aren't too many dogs around here that I would want her interacting with, since half of them are crazy, unsocialized bigger breeds.

My friend's family however is getting a Norwich Terrier puppy from a breeder up in Ontario this fall, she'll be coming on the plane sometime in October.. so we've decided that Cali and her will be play buddies since she moved into a house that's about a two minute walk away.

Moses isn't too playful with other dogs, but he meshes quite well with my friend's ten year old Golden, Sonny.. so we just say they're best friends. :)

Boomer, most definitely. I couldn't of set it up better myself as out of coincidence they've always been around each other since they were puppies. Before I got Duke, he was in the same neighborhood as Boom, and his male owner was friends with Booms' owner. So they got to hang out and play then. Then I got him and since Boomer is pretty much shared by Dean and I, their bond got even stronger. They even get depressed when they're away from each other for too long.

I'm glad he has his buddy because other than that he kind of thumbs his nose to other dogs a lot.

My dogs don't have any real best friends. They could if I wasn't busy all the time. Keira really likes a friend's Rottweiler, and I really should try to get together with her more often, but it seems I have something constantly going on every weekend.

But really, my dogs aren't real doggy dogs and aren't missing out on anything by not having any dog bffs. They're all very people oriented. We took Ripley on a playdate yesterday and he thought it was a terrible idea. He didn't play at all and hated the other dog, haha. She was a very in your face terrier and he thought she was quite rude. He would like it very much though if I got him a Vizsla for Christmas - they're his favourite. And aside from Ruca the Rottweiler, Keira does not want friends. She doesn't enjoy dog play. And Dance doesn't play with anybody but cute boy dogs. She especially likes huge, hairy ones. Leonbergers, Berners, random huge muttly mixes, etc. And I don't know any of those.

They adore eachother though. Ripley and Dance are the closet bonded dogs I've ever had. Not to an unhealthy level (they're fine when they're not together and have zero seperation issues), but they enjoy eachother so much. They play, snuggle, chew things together... just love being together. And while Keira doesn't play with them much, she does sometimes and she just enjoys their company.

I rarely go to the dog park in peak times since Kobe was attacked by a Mastiff. But at the doggy day care he has a chihuahua and megamutt best friend that follow him around during play sessions on the little dog time. In bigdog time he hs a border collie and labrador that absolutely love him. There's also a puppy border collie that belongs to my neighbor who idolizes kobe and sticks with him all day during non group play.

He used to have 3 malamute best friends at the dog park but I haven't seen them in a long time.

Abbey doesn't have any "doggy friends" as she's really rather dog reactive. Bonnie on the other hand LOVES my sister's boy, Laine, an AmStaff x Rottweiler/Mastiff. She doesn't get to see him very often anymore since we got Abbey and my dad doesn't believe in separating Abbey so that Bonnie and Laine can play. If Laine comes over he lets Abbey out with them and it results in Abbey bullying Laine or even an outright fight. :(

Bailey has no friends and she prefers it that way. I have yet to see her do more than tolerate andother dog. Except once... and that dog is Fritz. Since he's grown up to be a moose of a dog she doesn't love him anymore.

Buzz had a thing for a young intact male aussie yesterday. It was kind of hilarious and adorable. He thought Catcher was quite sexy... :D

Maddie's a people-dog. Bailey and Missy are the only one's she really plays with, but she really does love her sister Bailey :D I love it

They both really like Logan the Aussie... Everyone jokes that he's Bailey's boyfriend LOL

he's our trainers dog... I want to steal him! lol

Bailey loves Jackson the Weim, too. Maddie doesn't like him much, Bailey and I love is goofy personality and energy :D

Her bestest friend is Jackson, but he just moved away. They come back once in awhile and we always meet up.

Other good friends are Hershey, who lives across the road.

Teri, my parent's dog.

And Max, the Chihuahua who I have no pictures of for some reason.

She used to have her buddy Duke, who she loved as much as Jackson, but he moved away. And she had Douglas, who she ADORED but he was an old guy and passed away a year or so ago.

Mia does love her kitty. Very much. She licks all over her face and follows her around every time they see each other. Summer loves the kitty too. Almost makes me want a cat since they love the cat so much... but not quite.

They also love Beau, Rose, and Bernard obviously. Mia prefers Nard and Rose to Beau though.

Here they are with their old friend Lucky.

Molly never had any dog friends, at most she tolerates other dogs. King's older buddies are all gone now, George, the hyena (I wish I had a pic, I have never seen another dog that looked anything like George did) looking dog recently passed at 12, and his Pit bud, Rocky, died last year at 13 of lymphoma. He has a couple of much younger friends now, he's not as close with them as he was with Rocky, who was his all time favorite. One is a female Lab/Pit mix, Sadie, who is very gentle with the old man, and the other is Buford, a Blue Tick who is a little too rough at this point in King's life. King just gives him a dirty look and he collapses into a groveling mess. Once King walks away, he comes right back to life and starts trying to get King to play again. If Molly didn't hate Buford, and I mean hate him, Buford would be my latest dog. King and him slept together 20 minutes after they met, so I doubt there would be any problems there, but Molly went off the deep end when he just grazed her as he walked past her. I didn't think she had the speed, or the strength, to attack a much larger, and almost 12 year younger dog like she did. Buford being a wuss helped a lot, as I was able to get Molly off him before he decided to retaliate. He's very strong and it wouldn't have been good if he would have been pushed to the breaking point.

When Quinn was young she met a male Swissy at the dog park and they absolutely fell in love! I've never seen Quinn play with another dog like that. She would get all flirty and wiggly and actually put her paws on him, which has never happened in the history of Quinn. He was a goof but also extremely easy going and gentle, which must have been what she liked so much. He was also an intact male which she likes.

Quinn doesn't really get exposure with the same dogs anymore. It's more whoever we meet on the trail that day. None of my friends have dogs (or at least not dogs they take anywhere) and we don't go to the dog park anymore. We do go herding every week with another English Shepherd though and they get along quite well. They don't really play or anything, but they like walking together and checking out the sheep. Quinn really trusts Sookie which is big for her, and Sookie is so sweet and easygoing she's the perfect friend for any dog.

Growing up, Boone's best buddy was Aero, who belongs to SailenAero on Chaz.

Now, he's in love with two labs, Jinx and Zeus.

Raja loves Linds' Traveler, but that may be partly due to the fact that she seldom gets to play with other dogs. And partly due to him loving his butt as much as she loves hers.

Tempie doesn't really love other dogs. She just really loves her own furry family. And they love her.
