and either Dude or Buddy for the boy.

Please help. Their first puppy class is Monday and I have to decide by then!

Oh, that's cute! It's hard when by boyfriend and I don't agree on any names. I might just have to put my footdown soon.

My other dog is named Midget and our cat is named Bud (not that cats answer to their names - I guess his literal name is "PSSSSST!!!"

I second Sugar and Spice!

But if I had to choose from the ones you listed, I'd pick Piglet and Dude.

I'm definitely open to suggestions. I don't think I have a very good imagination. I am just really looking for something that fits them and isn't just a cute pair of names. I couldn't believe some of the names that my co-workers gave me this week.

I don't know why i'm having such a hard time. I have pets with names ranging from Jughead to Stugly, Midget to BigBird.

Sugar and Spice might just be an option

I like sugar and spice. My boyfriend's mom's dog's parents' names were sugar and spice (yeah i know, confusing). But if I had to choose from the names you like... Cassie and Dude.

the one on the right looks like "Dudley".
the one on the left looks like "Missy".

So I say Dudley and Missy.
And I looked at your pics and the pups, thats what they looked like to me. lol

I hope the sexes match with the names I suggested.

Anyway, I hope you find great names that fit each of your pups.

Julie.

Thanks so much. Cassie and Dude were the first names we thought of that we actually agreed on. My boyfriend likes Kacie, or K.C. for the girl instead of Cassie, but for one thing, I think Cassie is just a sweeter name than Kacie, and another thing - I have a friend from back in high school named Kacie - I could never name my dog that!

i would never have guessed beagle... with their golden coats and all... but they sure are cute pups. I'm curious to know what they look like as adult dogs.

Buddy and Cassie from your names or Buddy and Gale for some reason sticks in my head. How about Bonnie and Clyde or Boogie and Bacall? Buddy and Louie after Abbot and Costello even?

i did some checking on that by googling puggle pictures and looking at puggle.org because they have a gallery of pictures there.

There are definitely some not so cute puppies and adults out there.

I have been a beagle lover all my life and wasn't sure if I would like the mix but after spending the last week with these two, I don't know that I could ever have anything else. But, then again, I've always had mutts and mixes so I can't compare to a pure bred dog. I am just in the beginning of this and haven't really started much else besides house breaking so who knows what the future will bring.

I do like boogie and bacall.

Unfortunately our god daughter's name is Maddie and my next door neighbor's name is Bonnie. I guess this is why I've always stuck to names like Jughead and BigBird for my pets...

great ideas. I would just wonder if they would be able to recognize their own names if they started with the same thing. Who knows, I think I've been thinking of this way too long. I've looked at every name site out there today. Maybe the answer will come to me in my sleep :)
