Which Measuring Cup to Use?

Kind of weird question, but I have a glass measuring cup and a plastic measuring cup both similar to the links below. A cup from the glass one holds quite a bit more dry food than a cup from the plastic one.

Is there a reliable way to make sure I'm giving my dog the right amount of food? Does anybody use a scale or anything that gives an exact weight rather than just the volume?

The glass one is for liquids only. Anything that is wet goes in there. Dry is the solid plastic one. This is what you would use to measure your dry kibble. I hope that helps you.
