Sioux went to have dental surgery today - fractured a carnossial tooth and it had to be removed. Now, you would think a trainer like me, with umpteeump years of dog experience would be pretty relaxed about that. NOT. I had to leave my Sioux-bee at the clinic looking back at me with those big soft pleading eyes. Then, I had to sit in my office all day biting my nails. Then, I called and she was still in surgery. Then, I called and was told pick her up at 6:30, no food no water. FINALLY, I was there and had my sweet little wonder dog back!!!!!! OMG - she seems fine, but mom is thwacked. 
I'm sure glad this stuff doesn't happen every day. My nerves would never stand it.
