I never would have spotted her if you hadn't pointed her out. I hate ticks with a passion... I can't believe looking for some in her kind of coat!!

I saw her lol, but only because I'm used to looking for ears like that with Knox. :p

And ticks in their kind of coat suck.

Yeah, we have them. Not super often--I've only ever seen one, and it was on me (ew) years ago. Usually though, I think we avoid them because we don't run through the brush where they live... Elsie doesn't live by normal rules, though.

Yup, I'm moving by you guys if you've only ever found one tick! I think my record was pulling 27 off of Zuma (none attached yet) last summer in the parking lot of one of our hiking locations. We have a pretty crazy deticking routine now. LOL

27? There shouldn't even be that many ticks in the whole world. D: I usually just wait until we're home and then brush her out completely, paying extra attention to her ears and underparts.

I once pulled 100 ticks off of Enzo. No lie. The vet said she probably got into a nest or something. They were all seed ticks. It was terrible.

Haha, I hadn't noticed her either in the second picture! I actually didn't even realize you'd made an arrow pointing to her, for some reason I thought it was a ribbon or something. :rofl1:

:lol-sign: same here!

Ticks are *evil*... We have them by the thousands here! :( After every hike, I pull at least three off the puppy - He's short and acts like a bloodhound through bushes, so picks up the most. The saluki hardly ever gets any on him... he's too fast and tall! lol

She is a very nice looking dog. I could imagine my two running around in that area too.

Haha, I probably should have made the arrow thicker.

Elsie likes to bound onto bushes. She's ridiculous.

Thank you, Ulteed--I think she's lovely, too.
