Where to go in Fort Myers?

We just booked a flight on USA 3000 for myself, my husband and Gizmo. He'll be coming in the cabin with us. Once we're down there I would like to go everywhere with Gizmo (and my husband of course).

Does anyone know of any good outdoor seating/pet friendly restaurants ?

Any must do activities with a dog?

Doggie Boutiques?

Great Dog Beaches?

I went to dogfriendly.com but there really wasn't much.
We'll be renting a car so we can go beyond Fort Myer's (we'll be staying with the in-laws).

Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks!

Take the bridge to Sanibel Island ......great beaches and shells .

Fort Myers is really pretty... I love west coast Florida

I know of a great dog friendly beach in Tampa, however, that is a good ways away.
