I've just started clicker training Delia, 14-15 mo., female, chow/sheperd, 55 lbs.
Prior to beginning training, per her weight and activity level on the Natura website's "feeding wizard", she has been getting approx. 1 1/2 cups of Innova Dog Dry, 1/2 Can Innova Dog Canned and 3-4 Evo treats per day.
Now for training she has been getting probably 1 - 1 1/2 hotdogs per day as rewards.
What is the best way to keep her at a good food intake level - calorie and nutrition-wise? What part of her normal diet should I be looking at reducing? Can I just count approx. calories and adjust say from the dry food?
