Where does your dog sleep at night? Zeus slept in a crate in the bedroom when he was a pup. Now, he sleeps on the floor next to the foot of the bed. If he has to go potty during the night, he'll stand up, whine, and lick the closest pair of feet until somebody gets up. :p

2 - 3 months: On my chest
3 - 6-months: On the bed
6 mos - now: Crate which is beside the bed, on the floor beside the bed, on Lorri's side of the bed (which ususally happens while she's still in the bed) and pretty much anywhere else he likes.

May and Colby sleep in crates in the family room, Tippy sleeps on her bed next to my bed. In the day time they nap wherever they please - usually under the table for Tippy, in the corner or in a crate with the door open for May, next to the door for Colby.

Mango sleeps under the bed, if it gets cold she climbs onto the bed. Daytime she sleeps anywhere she fancies.

Tips still sleeps in his crate in the computer room, we'll probably leave him free at night soon. I found a suspiscious pee on the couch a week ago though so I just really want to make sure he is housetrained first. Boris slept in his crate until he was 6 months old, now he just sleeps on the floor in the bedroom. Except the big diarrhea mess from last night we've never had any problem with Boris holding through the night though.

During the day, they sleep wherever they want. At night, Dakota always goes in his crate (I want to wean him off the crate and into the laundry room now, but he chews on the door no matter what bones and toys he has in there.) and if Ripley is behaving, he gets to sleep wherever he wants. If he's being a little brat, he will go in his crate or in the laundry room.

At night, Hunter and I spoon alongside each other on my queen size bed all night. During the day, he sleeps wherever he wants... the leather couch with his own pillow, the bed again. The spare bedroom bed. And in front of a large picture window with his chin on the sill with just the top of his noggin showing when I get home from work... until he notices it's me pulling in and his head pops up. It's precious!! :p

Wendy either

A.) On the loveseat, stretched out
B.)On the couch in a ball
C.)At the top of the stairs, where she can still see the door.

She will not sleep in anybody's room, she just has to watch the door. But on Christmas, why didn't she hear Santa and have a barker-oo fit?

I don't have a spouse right now. But I did for 9 years and he LOVED our dogs. We had Eli (golden) and Yogi (yellow lab). They would BOTH sleep in bed with us all night (same bed). Bob would get in bed first and get all the covers pulled up around his chin and be on his back straight as a board and say "Ok... I'm in!" Then the boys and I would pile in the bed all around him for the night! Usually Eli slept in the space left when I pulled my feet up (I'm only 5' and Bob's 6'3"!). Yogi would wedge himself in between us. We were like a big ole pile of puppies! That's what we would call it... the puppy pile! :p

ever since he was old enough to not be confined to the crate at night anymore, quigley sleeps under the bed - his choice, not mine. weird dog. :D

during the time we didn't have a type of bed he could crawl under, he slept in his crate next to the bed.

during the day it depends on the weather, when it's hot, he mostly hangs out under my desk or on the hardwood floor in front of the office door. when it is cold, he curls up in his basket.
