Okay...the housebreaking is coming along. She has made the connection and is doing well BUT she keeps pooping on the sidewalk instead of in the grass. I try to get her to move to the grass but she keeps going to the same spot in front of the gate. I have moved the poo to a place in the yard and take her there to potty but she keeps going back to the sidewalk. I have washed the concrete to remove any odor and that isn't working either. Any suggestions? I don't have her leashed because we are still working on leash training. Baby steps!!!:)

First of all, get a leash on her, even if she isn't trained to walk on one yet. This is the only way to make her go where you want her to. Second, use a command (like "go pee" or whatever you want to use) EVERY time she goes. Eventually the command will actually trigger her to go, so you can make her go where you want her to. I did both of these things with my dog and he now has one little spot of the yard that he goes every single time, which makes it much easier to keep the yard cleaned up! Don't ya just love puppy training!!!

Oh, and by the way...it is NEVER too early to start leash training anyway!
She goes ballistic every time I put it on her. She does like a 360 flip and screams like I am ripping out her toenails. This is non stop!!! I let her drag it around for now and I am slowly trying to get her use to it.

Puppy temper tantrums are okay and normal when starting to leash train. Certain dogs throw bigger fits that others. The key is for you to stay calm and not give in to her fit. Reward her when she settles down and behaves calmly. In fact, it is important for you to teach her now that fits wont get her anywhere with you but acting properly will. They can throw some major "I am dying and being tortured fits" but it is important to keep in mind that puppies WAY over-react and your pup is actually not being attacked by it's leash and collar, lol!
