FOr Pepper it is the squirrel i put a speaker thing in...the kind that when you press the button sounds like Betty Boop and has a big kissy sound at the end of it. Her face melts everytime she gets it to make the boop boop smmmmoooooch! THat and her horsey (that whinnies) are my favorite of her toys that are her favorites too. SHe learned not to chew up her toys with her horsey. ANd she loves to find the foot that makes the sound. His eyes are hanging a little, and there is a bit of one ear missing. She has played with it daily for a year and a half now and never ripped another thread. THey are always on my bed close to where she sleeps.
When Virgo was here and came out with her Horsey i saw the look on Pepper's face. I quickly distracted Virgo with another toy, tossed the horsey behind me where Pepper made a fast dash and ran it to the bed. I then shut the door.
I love the squirrel the most of all the dogs toys because when Sawyer and Virgo stayed over they got ahold of it and ripped the tail right up the back. I didn't have time to sew it, and i knew she missed it so i folded it in half and put a few hair ties around it until i could get back to it, at least Pepper could play with it. WHen i took her over to my mom's i took her toy too for i wanted Mom to see that face she makes and thought if i left it she might play with it and GG could watch. Instead i came home and mom said
i think Shaffer tore Pepper's squirrel so i fixed it". And she had, sewn up every bit of it and the squirrel's tail now comes out of hte middle of it's back. She did the very best she could. Mom thought i would be sad that shaffer tore it up. I lol and told her SHaffer was not the culprit...and oh my i never meant to make her more work. I was just trying to share a funny and put a smile on her face. Now that squirrel puts a big smile on mine.
