What's your favorite dog breed?

My favorite dog breed forever will be the Great Pyrenees.

I don't actually think I have one . I adore Meg and she is the perfect dog for me, but from my understanding, she doesn't act like a typical Mountain Cur. I would never go out looking for one, even with this great experience with the breed under my belt. A typical Mt. Cur would be a horrible dog for me; it just so happened an individual of the breed was the right dog.

There are several herding and sighthound breeds that I am very fond of, and may own eventually. But for me, it's a matter of tracking down the right dog, breed be dam*ed.

I love all sorts of breeds and all sorts of dogs from different breeds- Ibizans and shelties are my favorite, but papillons as a whole breed are my favorites. They're just such great personalities.

The Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever is and forever will be my favourite.

I also love the Australian Shepherd, Belgian Shepherds, and Kooikerhondje. One of those breeds will be my next dog if I don't end up keeping one of Dance's pups.

I like a LOT of breeds, though, and I am a definite dog lover in general.
Some other breeds I like (in no order): GSD, ACD, Fila Brasileiro, Greyhound, Belgian Tervueren and Malinois, Great Dane, Pharoah Hound, Ibizan Hound, Podengo Portugueso Pequeno, Saluki, Siberian Husky, Akita, Shuba Inu, Lundehund, Alaskan Klee Kai, Redbone Coonhound, Doberman, Golden Retriever, Labrador Retriever, NSDTR, Kooikerhondje, Weimeraner, Kelpie, Australian Shepherd, Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, Beauceron, Dutch Shepherd, Chihuahua.

I should add I really like American Pit Bull Terriers and AmStaffs. They're not the right dog for me (for now, at least), but I am very fond of them and will always stand up against BSL towards any targeted breed.
